I arranged for a door repair with a different trader who set the date for 4 days away. The trader then messaged me next day delaying the repair by a further day. We were expecting friends to stay with us for a week or more and the sliding door to the yard and pergola was jammed. We needed an urgent fix!!
I left a message with North Shore Glass, and glazier/repairman Colin replied an hour or two later. He said he could come out and do the job in the morning even though it would be a Saturday. He arrived on time checked the door and got to work.

The door is a heavy glass sliding door. One or more rollers had clearly collapsed; yet Colin worked single-handedly to remove the door, carry it to his flatbed vehicle for repair work then carry it back in to fix it in position. He was on time; he worked cleanly and carefully; he worked efficiently, taking only 60 minutes, if that and his price for the job was very reasonable. He is a very pleasant individual and I could relax in his company.

Oh – and the door?? Better than a bought one!

I had a crack in my house front window that was rapidly getting worse due to the high winds and general poor winter weather we are having at the moment. I called Colin late yesterday afternoon and explained the situation. He was able to attend early this morning to replace the piece of glass and also fix a problem with the frame that had caused the glass to crack in the first place. Quick turnout and quality work at a great price. Colin is a very friendly person to speak to and I would recommend him to anybody. Cheers Colin
